Booking Policy

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ACCOMMODATION

These general terms and conditions are applicable to the contract for booking accommodation at Hattvika Lodge. The purpose is to bring clarity to the booking and agreements in advance of your stay, so Hattvika Lodge can serve our customers in the best possible way.

AGREEMENT VALIDITY

This agreement is binding from the moment the customer has sent in the reservation.

CANCELLATION AND CHARGES

Cancellation deadline for individual reservations is 14 days prior to arrival. If the reservation is cancelled after 14 days before arrival, the customer will be charged with 100% of the agreed room rate. Cancellation must be sent in writing to booking@hattvikalodge.no.

SETTLEMENT FORM

All payments are made in cash or by credit card unless otherwise agreed in writing.

In billing there is a billing fee of NOK 95, – Minimum amount for crediting is NOK 2000, –

For outstanding amounts due, it is calculated 2% interest per month.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT

Check in is from 15.00 on the arrival day, and check out is at 11.00 the following day. Check in after 7 PM must be clarified with the hotel, otherwise rooms can be resold.

No pets are allowed at Hattvika Lodge

PRIVACY

Upon approval of our terms and conditions you also agree that Hattvika Lodge will store your personal information. This information will only be used to log your activity with us, send order confirmations / invoices / receipts and when marketing directly to the customer.

You can contact us at any time to see what information we have, ask us to delete the information or remove you from our mailing list.

HATTVIKA LODGE DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR:

Damage and loss of: jewelry, clothing or valuables not deposited against receipt.

Personal injury which is not a result of gross negligence expelled by Hattvika Lodge.

FORCE MAJEURE

Events outside Hattvika Lodge`s control (strike, lock out, official or unofficial work interferences, conflicts and unexpected shortages of staff, fire, lack of supplies, natural disasters, etc.) provides Hattvika Lodge the right to terminate the contract without liability.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR EVENTS / GROUPS / AGENTS

GENEREL CONDITIONS

These general terms and conditions apply as a contract for an event at Hattvika Lodge. The purpose is to make clarity in terms of agreement so that we can serve our customers in the best possible way. For agents we require a minimum of nights booked as 3 nights. We always require pre-payment from agents

VALIDITY

The offer is valid for 30 days from today.

These rules apply to the extent that no other written agreement has been made for the arrangement of courses, meetings, conferences, companies, travel groups and the like – hereinafter referred to as the event.

REDUCTION IN NUMBER OF GUESTS

The hotel’s price offers are based on original booking. When changing the arrangement in relation to the original booking, the offer and meeting room facilities will be reviewed again.

CANCELLATION

Any cancellation and change must be reported in writing to booking@hattvikalodge.no

Unpaid cancellation of total bookings or downgrades of room reservations can be made according to:

  • Up to 60 days before the date of arrival, 100% of the contractual arrangement can be cancelled free of charge or within special agreement between the parties

In case of cancellation above, the promoter is charged with the agreed price.

This applies to accommodation, conference rooms, meals and day conferences.

SETTLEMENT FORM

All payment is settled in cash or by credit card unless otherwise agreed in writing. If invoice is agreed, we charge an invoice fee of NOK 150,-. In case of late payment, the outstanding amount due is calculated with 2 % interest per month.

ORGANIZER’S FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PARTICIPANTS

The organizer is responsible for current participant accounts, even if there is a settlement for each participant. All conference packages for non-residents will be charged on a shared account. The organizer is also liable for damage caused to the hotel as a result of negligence or intentional conduct by the participants.

Program and name list, sent 10 days prior to the event/ arrival

DISPOSITION OF ROOMS / MEETING ROOMS

Check in is from 3 PM on the arrival day, and check out is at 11 AM the following day. Check in after 7 PM must be clarified with the hotel, otherwise rooms can be resold.

Other times can be agreed. Meeting rooms are available according to confirmation / meeting planner

Events outside Hattvika Lodge`s control (strike, lock out, official or unofficial work interferences, conflicts and unexpected shortages of staff, fire, lack of supplies, natural disasters, etc.) provides Hattvika Lodge the right to terminate the contract without liability.

CONDITIONS ONLINE BOOKING

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ACCOMMODATION

These general terms and conditions apply as a contract for booking accommodation at Hattvika Lodge AS.

The purpose is to make clarity in order and agreement conditions ahead of our stay, so that Hattvika Lodge can serve our guests in the best possible way.

VALIDITY

This agreement is binding from the time the customer has submitted an order.

CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES

The order can not be changed, refunded or cancelled.

SETTLEMENT FORM

The credit card is charged when the booking is confirmed
