Because of our fishing history, here at the Lofoten islands, we often talk about a good catch. By getting Roland on board, we are happy to announce this as „the catch of the year“!
Seldom you get such a great inspiring and experienced personality which has, not just the ability to manage, but also is outdoor rooted!
Roland has traveled the world, and he established and managed several hotels and resorts all over the planet. As a mountaineer he was also operating his alpine lodge for 18 years, situated at an altitude of 2500 m in the Austrian Alps.His mountaineering and outdoor passion took him to many spectacular places. One of them the Himalaya where he climbed three peaks between 7000 and 8000 m.
With his gifted nature, his abilities and experiences he will manage and guide the lodge on its future authentic path. Besides leading the Hattvika lodge with the owners, Guri & Krisitan, the team he also will be conducting (most) of our tours, introducing and assimilate his favorite sport, the trail running!
